What it can do
SuiteAction turns plain-English requests into real changes across Google Sheets, Docs and Slides. No hand-written Google API JSON, no half-finished output to clean up yourself.
Three complete surfaces
The depth matters because “make this polished” is never one API call. Your agent needs enough reliable building blocks to complete the whole job.
Data, charts & formatting
Read the numbers, write and format ranges, build charts, apply rules, restructure sheets and finish the fiddly work.
Structured documents
Create sendable documents with real structure: text, headings, lists, tables, images, sections and consistent styling.
Complete decks
Build and edit complete presentations: slides, layouts, text, shapes, images, tables, charts and speaker notes.
Ask for the result
SLIDES
“Turn this spreadsheet into a pitch deck.”
It reads the sheet, finds the story, and builds the slides—layout, visuals, tables and speaker notes included.
DOCS
“Turn these notes into a client report.”
It creates the document, adds structure and tables, formats it properly, and returns something you can send.
SHEETS
“Build a Q3 forecast and highlight the risks.”
It works through the numbers, formulas, formatting, validation and charts inside the sheet you already use.
Worth knowing
SuiteAction works in the files you already use. It does not copy the result into a separate editor or trap it in a proprietary format.
CONTENT
Reading and editing the contents works on the Sheet, Doc or Slides file you point your assistant toward.
DRIVE
Drive-level export and rename actions—and the Docs-only sharing, comments and revision tools—work on files SuiteAction created through its per-file permission.
RECOVERY
Content edits remain in Google's version history. A file deletion goes to Drive trash, where Google normally keeps it for 30 days.
CONTROL
Remove the stored connection in SuiteAction or revoke its access directly from your Google account settings.
Straight answers
Partly. They can read files and make simple changes. SuiteAction supplies the deeper finishing actions—charts, formatting, tables, slide layout and the finishing details that normally send you back into the file to tidy it by hand.
You paste the link to the Google Sheet, Doc or Slides file in your request. SuiteAction acts on the file you point it toward for the task you asked it to complete. Creating something new needs no link — just ask.
Google keeps version history on Sheets, Docs and Slides, so a content edit can be rolled back in the file itself from File → Version history. A requested deletion sits in Google Drive trash for around 30 days.
Claude Code, Cursor and Codex are wired up by the one setup command, and your own app can call the API directly. See setup.
No. Your file content is used only to carry out the request you made — never to train models, and never sold. See the privacy notice.
